Winter Harvest Growing Schedule

.

This winter and spring harvesting schedule should provide you encouragement to get one if you don’t yet have a hoop home (high tunnel). We remain in Zone 7a, so if you are in a cooler environment, include inner tunnels (we do not need them), and change the dates to see what you can accomplish. We have 20 different crops of salad and cooking greens, radishes, scallions and turnips. We have actually also utilized some area for starts of bulbing onions, kale, spinach and collards, to transplant outdoors in early spring.
