I’m back with some more pictures from our Texas getaway if you missed the first post you can examine all of it out here
( including where to discover remarkable beach front rental houses, for sensible costs!) We spent 5 nights on the coast in Galveston, then we packed everything up and headed to WACO! I took tons of pictures, so I’m breaking it up into 2 posts and today I’ll be sharing some truly adorable garden concepts from Magnolia Silos..
We arrived at the Silos after lunch and it was currently relatively crowded. It was a Thursday afternoon, so I ‘d hate to see how crowded the place gets on the weekend! My impression was that Chip and Joanna looked after every. bit. information. I suggest, even the garbage cans were stunning! The quantity of preparation and execution it would require to manage designing a place of this size (approx 1 full block) simply boggles my mind!
the front of the retail area.
my earliest daughter and I posturing by the truck and Silos.
the huge play area outside the Silos– synthetic grass remains green all year!
Magnolia Seed + Supply. Our very first stop was this charming little Seed + Supply store just next to the Silos. There are real air plants, succulents, seeds and other products displayed. Things were a little expensive, but that could just be my prudent self being particular Everything was VERY perfectly displayed.tiny.
I imply, it’s about the size of my living-room & & dining-room combined. Which does not leave a great deal of wiggle space for individuals to go shopping..
lots of excellent things for sale. And just outside the Seed + Supply shop, they have a cute little greenhouse with.baby chickens.
for sale! oh the cuteness!
such cuteness!
The premises surrounding the Seed + Supply shop are filled with raised beds and charming little flower gardens. It makes me wonder how many people they have on their landscaping/gardening staff.
All Posts.
I love the method Joanna utilizes repurposed items as planters. I’m not for sure, however I believe this photo below is an old pig feeder It makes such a statement filled with beautiful flowers! So the ethical of the story here, is keep your eyes peeled at your local flea markets and antique shops for some rusty old scrap and fill them with flowers!
pig feeder?
Adorable natural architectural components add interest to a garden.
love these old wood bins filled with herbs!
rusty old seamless gutters or some type of industrial pipeline filled w/ flowers.
The bakery was extremely crowded the day we existed, however I did take some quick choices of their lovely greenery.
flower boxes & & topiary trees.
planter boxes w/ little boxwoods create a little personal privacy around the pastry shop seating location. That concludes all the outside pictures!
